Step By Step

Step 1: Register and Pay for Your Ticket

  1. Visit the competition's official website.

  2. Navigate to the registration section.

  3. Fill out the registration form:

    • Individual Competitor: Enter your name.

    • Team Competitor: Enter your team name instead of individual names.

  4. Complete the payment process for your ticket.

 

Step 2: Wait for Round 1 Topics

  1. After registration, wait for the announcement of the Round 1 topics.

  2. Check your email or the competition’s website for the topics.

 

Step 3: Begin Competing

  1. Once the topics are released, start working on your entry.

  2. Brainstorm ideas with your team if applicable.

 

Step 4: Create Your Product Name and Logo

  1. Develop a name for your product based on the topic.

  2. Design a logo that represents your product.

 

Step 5: Create a Social Media Account

  1. Set up social media accounts for your product on platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.

  2. Ensure your accounts are public so the judges can view your posts.

 

Step 6: Create and Post a 30-Second Ad

  1. Produce a 30-second advertisement for your product.

  2. Post the ad on all your social media accounts.

  3. Include the hashtag #Thr1veUP2k24, #Thr2veUP2k24, #Thr3veUP2k24 (for rounds 1, 2 and 3 respectively) in your post to ensure visibility to the judges.

 

Step 7: Submit Your Work

  1. Go to the competition’s submission portal.

  2. Upload your 30-second ad.

  3. Provide the ticket number you received during registration.

  4. Include links to your social media posts.

 

Step 8: Wait for Results

  1. After submitting, wait for the judges to review your work.

  2. Check the competition’s website or your email for results and feedback.

 

Step 9: Advance to the Next Round

  1. If you advance, the process will repeat itself for the next round.

  2. Prepare for new topics and follow the same steps.

 

Finals

  1. After 3 online rounds, the finals will be held in a physical auditorium.

  2. You will receive the final topic 2 days before the event.

  3. Prepare to:

    • Present your video and social media strategy.

    • Participate in a stand-up advertising segment.

    • Answer 3 questions from the judges on stage.

RULES

SOCIAL MEDIA

General Guidelines

  1. Original Content: All posts submitted to the competition must be the original work of the participant. Plagiarism or use of copyrighted material without permission will result in disqualification.

 

Prohibited Activities

  1. No Buying Activity: Participants are strictly prohibited from purchasing likes, comments, shares, followers, or any other form of engagement on any social media post submitted to the competition.

    • Detection: We employ advanced bot detection systems to identify and disqualify any participants engaging in such activities.

 

Permitted Activities

  1. Sharing Your Post: Participants are encouraged to share the link to their competition post with friends, family, and other personal connections.

    • Promotion: Promoting your post through personal networks, including social media sharing, messaging, and email, is allowed and encouraged.

 

Fair Play

  1. Ethical Conduct: All participants are expected to compete fairly and ethically. Any attempts to manipulate or deceive the competition process will result in immediate disqualification.

    • Transparency: Any suspicious activity will be investigated, and participants may be asked to provide additional information to verify the authenticity of their engagement.

 

Monitoring and Enforcement

  1. Active Monitoring: We continuously monitor all submitted posts for compliance with these rules.

    • Penalties: Any violation of these rules may lead to penalties, including but not limited to disqualification from the competition, removal of posts, and banning from future competitions.

 

Compliance

  1. Agreement to Rules: By entering the competition, participants agree to abide by these rules and any decisions made by the competition organizers.

    • Updates: These rules may be updated at any time, and participants will be notified of any significant changes.

 

Reporting Issues

  1. Reporting Suspicious Activity: If you notice any suspicious activity or believe that another participant is violating these rules, please report it to the competition organizers immediately.

AD CONTENT

General Content Requirements

  1. Originality: All components of the ad (video, logo, and product name) must be 100% original content created by the participant.

    • Verification: We use advanced bot detection and verification systems to ensure originality.

  1. Video Requirements: The video must be entirely created by the participant. This includes all footage, and graphics.

    • Music and Footage: Use of royalty-free or participant-created music and footage is permitted, provided it does not violate copyright laws.

  2. Logo Requirements: The logo must be an original design created by the participant.

    • Design Elements: It should not include any elements that are copyrighted, trademarked, or otherwise protected without explicit permission.

  3. Product Name Requirements: The product name must be an original creation by the participant.

    • Uniqueness: It should not infringe on existing trademarks or be a slight variation of existing product names.

JUDGING CRITERIA

Preliminary Round Judging Criteria

  1. Design and Creativity of the Logo (20 points)

    • Originality (5 points): Does the logo present a unique and fresh perspective?

    • Aesthetic Appeal (5 points): Is the design visually appealing and professional?

    • Relevance (5 points): How well does the logo represent the brand or product?

    • Memorability (5 points): Is the logo easy to remember and recognize?

  2. 30-Second Ad (50 points)

    • Creativity and Execution (15 points)

      • Innovative Concept (5 points): Does the ad present a creative and original idea?

      • Production Quality (5 points): Is the ad produced with high technical standards (e.g., quality of video, sound, editing)?

      • Engagement (5 points): Does the ad capture and hold the viewer's attention?

    • Clarity (10 points)

      • Message Clarity (5 points): Is the message of the ad clear and easy to understand?

      • Call to Action (5 points): Is there a clear and compelling call to action?

    • Reach and Engagement on Social Media (15 points)

      • Accounts Reached (5 points): How many unique accounts did the ad reach?

      • Engagement Rate (5 points): How well did the ad perform in terms of likes, shares, comments, etc.?

      • Audience Interaction (5 points): How effectively did the ad generate interaction and discussion among the audience?

    • Explanation and Content of the Ad (10 points)

      • Product Explanation (5 points): How well does the ad explain the product?

      • Content Quality (5 points): Is the content informative and relevant to the target audience?

  3. Social Media Growth (30 points)

    • Follower Growth (10 points): Increase in the number of followers or subscribers.

    • Engagement Growth (10 points): Improvement in engagement metrics such as likes, shares, comments.

    • Content Quality (10 points): Quality and consistency of social media content throughout the competition.

Finals Judging Criteria

  1. Design and Creativity of the Logo (20 points)

    • Same criteria as in the preliminary round.

  2. Creativity, Execution, and Clarity of the Video (40 points)

    • Creativity (10 points): Does the video present a creative and innovative idea?

    • Execution (10 points): Is the video produced with high technical standards?

    • Message Clarity (10 points): Is the message of the video clear and easy to understand?

    • Call to Action (10 points): Is there a clear and compelling call to action?

  3. Total Social Media Success (20 points)

    • Overall Reach (10 points): Total unique accounts reached throughout the competition.

    • Overall Engagement (10 points): Cumulative engagement metrics (likes, shares, comments, etc.) throughout the competition.

  4. Ability to Answer Judges' Questions (10 points)

    • Clarity and Confidence (5 points): Are the answers clear, confident, and well-articulated?

    • Relevance and Depth (5 points): Do the answers address the questions thoroughly and relevantly?

  5. Communication of the Product from the Presentation (10 points)

    • Product Understanding (5 points): How well does the presentation communicate the product's features and benefits?

    • Audience Engagement (5 points): How effectively does the presentation engage and captivate the audience?

Total Points

  • Preliminary Round: 100 points

  • Finals: 100 points
